Ringside is searching for a Senior PHP Engineer to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that enjoys taking initiative and seeing development from conception to completion. The candidate will also have an innate curiosity for continued skill growth and development.

Duties:

• Lead the backend of the application development life cycle from beta to delivery & post-launch support.
• Develop and maintain a strong, scalable, and cutting-edge backend to our mobile app and web products.
• Create the conception and development of algorithms based on PHP
• Responsible for product development with the possibility to significantly shape the IT agenda and company
• Lead code and design reviews

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of PHP development experience
• Experience optimizing and refactoring application code
• Find joy in working out solutions to tricky problems
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information into simple terms
