Ringside is looking for a Cost Accountant to be an integral part of our client's accounting team. This role will be responsible for developing budgets, metrics, and financial goals that align with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain product sales and cost of sales records.
• Ensure accurate cost standards are established and variances properly recorded.
• Monitor processes and controls relating to inventory transactions and reporting failures and areas for improvement
• Analyze gross margins to ensure accurate product costing.
• Prepare and support month-end closings.
• Assist In preparation of the budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field
• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Familiarity with SOX auditing requirements and GAAP
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
