Ringside Talent is looking for a Senior Application Developer with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of the technology initiatives one our cutting-edge client heaquartered in Central Ohio.

The Application Developer is a key part of the Software Development team responsible for the design, development and delivery of vital internal and customer facing enterprise level systems. The Application Developer reports to the Manager of Software Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for new product development, improvement, design, documentation and testing in line with the company mission
  • Assist in establishing application project goals, objectives, and deliverables
  • Design and code new solutions based on project requirements and client input.
  • Produce clean and well commented code.
  • Provide ideas, feedback and solutions for UI/UX designs.
  • Support existing applications, API’s and integrations as designated.
  • Work in the same codebase alongside teammates to meet deadlines.
  • Solve complex business and data challenges with elegantly coded solutions.

Qaulifications:

  • Proficiency in .NET MVC web framework and services is required
  • Proficiency in C# is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access is required
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL is required (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc).
  • Strong working knowledge of HTTP and a server-side scripting language (PHP, Ruby, etc).
  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and CSS.
  • Functional knowledge of Linux / Unix system administration.
  • Functional knowledge of TCP/IP and enterprise networking services.
  • Strong communication skills
